Peer Support Specialist

Part of a multi-disciplined team that provides community-based services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.  As a member of this team, the Peer Support Specialist assists individuals in building trust and rapport with service providcers; develop understanding and managemnet of their illness and symptoms; link with natural and community supports.  High school diploma or GED required, valid Michigan driver's license with good driving record and must have received mental health services.
